29C—Incorporated hospital to be subject to direction
(1) An
incorporated hospital is subject to direction by the Minister.
(2) A direction cannot
be given—
(a) so
as to affect clinical decisions relating to the treatment of any particular
patient; or
(b) for
the sale or disposal of land, buildings or equipment that is not held by the
Crown; or
(c)
relating to the employment of a particular person or the assignment, transfer,
remuneration, discipline or termination of a particular employee.
(3) A direction under
this section must be given in writing and must be published in the Gazette.
(4) Particulars of
directions given under this section must be included in the hospital's annual
report.
