South Australian Repealed ActsThis legislation has been repealed.
(1) Subject to
subsection (2), if a member's employment is terminated by retrenchment
the member is entitled to—
(a)
payment of the employee component and the employer component; and
(b)
payment of—
(i)
the rollover component (if any); and
(ii)
the co-contribution component (if any),
to the extent that the payment can be made in accordance with the SIS Act.
(2) The member may
elect to preserve his or her employee, employer, rollover or co-contribution
component or to carry it over to some other superannuation fund or scheme and
in the event of such an election the provisions of section 32 will apply
as if the member had resigned from employment.
