COUNTRY FIRES REGULATIONS 1989 - REG 4

4—Interpretation

In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—

"the Act" means the Country Fires Act 1989 ;

"Australian Standard" means a standard of the Standards Association of Australia;

"Incident Management System" see regulation 5;

"Incident Response Plan" see regulation 5;

"operation" includes a practice or training exercise for members of a C.F.S. organisation;

"recognised emergency service" means—

            (a)         the South Australian Police Force; or

            (b)         the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service; or

            (c)         the State Emergency Service; or

            (d)         the St. John Ambulance Service.
