HARBORS AND NAVIGATION REGULATIONS 1994 - REG 79

79—Application for licence

        (1)         An application for a licence under Part 8 of the Act—

            (a)         must be made to the CEO; and

            (b)         must conform to the requirements of the CEO about its form, contents and the manner in which it is made.

        (2)         An applicant under this regulation must provide the CEO with such information and records as the CEO reasonably requires.

        (3)         Before a licence is granted under Part 8 of the Act in respect of houseboats, each of the houseboats to be hired out pursuant to the licence must be inspected under Division 3.

        (4)         The CEO may require an applicant under this regulation to undertake a practical demonstration relating to the applicant's capacity to satisfy the requirements of this Part.
