9—Minor trade promotion lotteries
A trade promotion lottery is an exempted lottery for the purposes of the Act
if—
(a) the
total value of all the prizes in the lottery does not exceed $500; and
(b) the
lottery is not for the purpose of promoting the sale of—
(i)
cigarettes, cigars, tobacco or any other tobacco product;
or
(ii)
firearms or ammunition; and
(c) the
lottery does not consist of bingo sessions conducted on the premises to which
a gaming machine licence under the Gaming Machines Act 1992 relates; and
(d) the
person conducting the lottery complies with the trade promotion lottery rules
set out in regulation 24A.
