South Australian Repealed RegulationsThis legislation has been repealed.
(1) A procedure aimed
at the resolution of disputes within the facility must be established at a
supported residential facility.
(2) The procedure must
include a provision that allows for the involvement of an independent person
to assist or represent a resident who requests or needs assistance in a
situation of dispute.
(3) The procedure must
be incorporated in the rules of the facility.
(4) A complaint made
by a resident of a facility to a proprietor or staff member must be dealt with
in a prompt and reasonable manner and, if appropriate, on a confidential
basis.
(5) If a provision of
this regulation is not observed, the proprietor of the relevant facility is
guilty of an offence.
Penalty: Division 7 fine.
Expiation fee: $50.
