South Australian Repealed RegulationsThis legislation has been repealed.
(1) A person who was,
immediately before the commencement of these regulations, registered under
the repealed regulations as the principal in a business of repairing or
adjusting measuring instruments used for, or for use for, trade will be taken
to be the holder of a servicing licence under the principal Act until 1
February 1994 (when the licence will expire).
(2) A mark used by a
person referred to under subregulation (1) for the purposes of
the repealed regulations will be taken to be an approved mark under section 46
of the principal Act.
(3) A person who was,
immediately before the commencement of these regulations, the owner of a
registered public weighbridge under the repealed regulations will be taken to
be the holder of a public weighbridge licence under the principal Act until 1
March 1994 (when the licence will expire).
(4) Without limiting
the operation of any condition imposed under the principal Act, a condition
that applied to a registration under the repealed regulations immediately
before the commencement of these regulations will be taken to apply with
respect to a licence that is taken to exist by virtue of these regulations.
(5) In this
regulation—
"the repealed regulations" means the Weights and Measures
Regulations 1972 .
