REPEAL OF REGULATIONS POSTPONEMENT BILL 9 OF 2012

           Repeal of Regulations Postponement Bill 2012


                            CLAUSE NOTES




Clause 1     Short title and citation.




Clause 2     The Act commences on receiving Royal Assent.




Clause 3     The Clause provides that the regulations in the Schedule to the
             Act that are due to be repealed on the dates specified in the
             Schedule are postponed until 30 June 2014, but does not
             prevent any of the regulations from being rescinded prior to that
             date
 
 
Clause 4   This clause provides for the administration of this Act by the Minister
           for Energy and Resources and the Department of Infrastructure,
           Energy and Resources.




Clause 5   This clause provides that the Act automatically expires on 2 July
           2014.
 
 
Schedule 1   The table indicates the regulations affected by the Act, and when
             they would ordinarily be repealed but for this Act.
