The Bill amends the Poisons Amendment Act 1971 to:

Address an anomaly identified by the Ombudsman to clarify that a person may

substances have been legally prescribed and dispensed in another State or
     territory for that person's use.
Amend the provisions relating to manufacturing and wholesale chemist licences
to change the date that licences are in force until and to provide that licence

responsible for compliance with conditions under the licence.
