Tasmanian Numbered Acts Tasmanian Numbered Acts69. Prisoner not to be released on parole in certain circumstances
(1) A prisoner who has been sentenced to a term of imprisonment is not to be released on parole in respect of that sentence if the court has ordered that the prisoner is ineligible for parole pursuant to section 17 or 18 of the Sentencing Act 1997 .
(2) If a prisoner is made the subject of a declaration under section 19 of the
Sentencing Act 1997 , the prisoner is not eligible to be released on parole
until the declaration is discharged under that Act.
