COOPERATIVES ACT 1999 (NO. 85 OF 1999) - SECT 12

12. Types of cooperatives

      (1) A body may be registered under this Act as a cooperative.

      (2) A cooperative may be either –

(a) a trading cooperative; or

(b) a non-trading cooperative.
