(1) The Governor, by order, may declare a law of the State other than Tasmania to be a cooperatives law for the purposes of this Part if satisfied that the law –
(a) substantially corresponds to the provisions of this Act; and
(b) contains provisions that are referred to in this Part as provisions of a cooperatives law that correspond to specified provisions of this Act.
(2) The
Governor, by order, may vary or revoke a declaration under
subsection (1).
