GAS ACT 2000 (NO. 92 OF 2000) - SECT 9

9. Director of Gas Safety

      (1) The Governor may appoint a Director of Gas Safety under and subject to the Tasmanian State Service Act 1984 .

      (2) The Minister may assign an employee in the State Service to act as the Director –

(a) during a vacancy in the office of Director; or

(b) when the Director is absent from, or unable to discharge, official duties.
