The Board must perform its functions and exercise its powers so as to –
(a) ensure that the services psychologists provide to the public are of the highest possible standard; and
(b) ensure that psychologists practise according to the highest professional standard; and
(c) guard against unsafe, incompetent and unethical practices by psychologists.
