ANATOMICAL EXAMINATIONS REGULATIONS 2007 (S.R. 2007, NO. 4) - NOTES

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Anatomical Examinations Act 2006.

These regulations are administered in the Department of Health and Human Services.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations –

(a) prescribe the records and particulars that must be kept by the Head of the Faculty of Health Science in the University of Tasmania in relation to bodies of deceased persons accepted for anatomical examinations; and

(b) specify the procedures to be undertaken while such a body is in the control of the Head of that Faculty; and

(c) prescribe the fees payable for the purposes of the Anatomical Examinations Act 2006.
