(1)  A Competent Authority may, on application made in accordance with regulation 195 , approve the transfer of dangerous goods otherwise than in accordance with Chapter 10 of the ADG Code if the Authority considers that the risk involved in the transfer of the goods is not greater than the risk involved in the transfer of the goods in accordance with the Chapter.

(2)  The approval of a transfer of dangerous goods may be subject to any condition necessary for the safe transfer of the goods.
