Commencement These regulations take effect on the day on which the Daylight Saving Act 2007 commences. 3. Interpretation In these regulations "Act" means the Daylight Saving Act 2007. 4. Prescribed period for purposes of section 4 of Act The period commencing at the hour of 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in October in each year and ending at the hour of 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in April in the following year is prescribed for the purposes of section 4 of the Act.
