FISHERIES (SCALEFISH) RULES 1998 - NOTES

I make the following rules under the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 10 June 1998.

These rules are administered in the Department of Primary Industry and Fisheries.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the rule)

(a) the management of the scalefish fishery; and

(b) the allocation and use of fishing gear; and

(c) authority, conditions and endorsements of relevant licences; and

(d) qualifications for licences.
