FISHERIES (SCALEFISH) RULES 1998 (S.R. 1998, NO. 63) - REG 119

119. Taking and possessing warehou

      (1) A person must not take more than 20 warehou in any one day in the waters specified in rule 77(k).

Penalty:

Fine not exceeding the applicable Grade 2 penalty.

      (2) A person must not possess more than 20 warehou within 200 metres of the high-tide mark of the waters specified in rule 77(k) unless –

(a) the person –

(i) is the holder of a commercial fishing licence; and

(ii) takes the fish for commercial purposes; and

(iii) is landing, transporting or holding the fish; or

(b) the person is transporting the fish that have been taken for commercial purposes; or

(c) the premises where the fish are located are processing premises.

Penalty:

Fine not exceeding the applicable Grade 2 penalty.
