FISHERIES (SCALEFISH) RULES 1998 (S.R. 1998, NO. 63) - REG 89

89. Use of mullet net in certain waters

A person must not use a mullet net in the following waters:

(a) any shark nursery waters;

(b) Southport, west of an imaginary straight line from Southport Bluff to Burnett Point;

(c) Recherche Bay, west of an imaginary straight line from Sullivan Point to the navigation light on Fishers Point;

(d) Bathurst Harbour, east of an imaginary straight line from Turnbull Head to Milner Head;

(e) Macquarie Harbour.

Penalty:

Fine not exceeding the applicable Grade 2 penalty.
