FISHERIES (SCALEFISH) RULES 1998 (S.R. 1998, NO. 63) - REG 9

9. Fishing for commercial purposes

A person must not take scalefish for commercial purposes unless the person is the holder of a –

(a) fishing licence (vessel) and a fishing licence (personal); or

(b) fishing licence (personal) endorsed accordingly; or

(c) fishing licence (personal) who takes scalefish –

(i) with no more than 10 hooks; and

(ii) without motor assistance or the use of a fishing vessel.

Penalty:

Fine not exceeding the applicable Grade 3 penalty.
