FISHERIES (SCALEFISH) RULES 2004 (S.R. 2004, NO. 91) - REG 59

59. Authority of recreational fishing licences

      (1) The holder of a licence referred to in this rule must not use more fishing gear than is authorised by the licence or under these rules.

Penalty:

Fine not exceeding the applicable Grade 3 penalty.

      (2) The holder of a fishing licence (recreational beach seine net) may only use one beach seine net to take scalefish for recreational fishing.

      (3) The holder of a fishing licence (recreational graball net) may only use one graball net to take scalefish for recreational fishing.

      (4) The holder of a fishing licence (recreational mullet net) may only use one mullet net to take scalefish for recreational fishing.

      (5) A person must not hold more than one of each of the licences specified in subrules (2), (3) and (4).

Fine not exceeding the applicable Grade 2 penalty.
