FISHERIES (SCALEFISH) RULES 2004 (S.R. 2004, NO. 91) - REG 99

99. Limits on taking and possessing squid

      (1) The holder of a fishing licence (scalefish C) must not take, or have possession of, any more than 30 arrow squid or southern calamary in total in State waters.

Penalty:

Fine not exceeding the applicable Grade 2 penalty.

      (2) Subrule (1) does not apply to a person who holds both a fishing licence (scalefish C) and a fishing licence (class seine).
