FISHERIES (MACKEREL) RULES 2009 (S.R. 2009, NO. 16) - NOTES

I make the following rules under the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995.

Notified in the Gazette on 1 April 2009.

These rules are administered in the Department of Primary Industries and Water.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the rule)

(a) the management of the mackerel fishery in State waters; and

(b) licences for that fishery; and

(c) bycatch limits, purse seine net usage restrictions and other controls relating to that fishery.
