Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) On application by a police officer under subsection (2), the Chief Commissioner may make a determination that the powers regarding serving a firearms prohibition order set out in this Division may be exercised in relation to an individual to whom a firearm prohibition order applies.
(2) An application for a determination under subsection (1) must be in writing and supported by an affidavit sworn or affirmed by the police officer making the application.
