139. Referral of plans to independent panel
(1) Before approving a special access well plan, the Minister may refer the
plan to an independent panel or any relevant public authority for a
recommendation concerning approval of the plan.
(2) Despite subsection (1), the Minister must refer a special access well plan
to an independent panel or relevant public authority before determining that
approval of the plan is in the public interest in accordance with
section 137(2)(b).
