Minister may give information etc. to other Ministers

249. Minister may give information etc. to other Ministers



(1) The Minister may give to another Minister or to a Minister of the
Commonwealth or of a State or Territory-

   (a)  any information contained in a document to which this Division applies
        that has been given to the Minister; and

   (b)  any samples that have been given to the Minister.

(2) The Minister may only give information, cores, cuttings or samples to
another Minister or to a Minister of the Commonwealth or of a State or
Territory under subsection (1) in accordance with an arrangement between them
that includes a provision restricting the release by that Minister of the
information, cores, cuttings or samples to circumstances in which it might be
released by the Minister under this Act.
