Who may apply for registration

23. Who may apply for registration



(1) Application for registration of a vehicle may be made by-

   (a)  an individual who is eligible to be the registered operator of the
        vehicle; or

   (b)  an agent of-

   (i)  an individual who is eligible to be the registered operator of the
        vehicle; or

   (ii) a corporation.

(2) If it appears to the Corporation that an application for registration of a
vehicle is made by an agent, the Corporation must not grant the application
unless the agent produces-

   (a)  evidence of the agent's identity in a form acceptable to the
        Corporation; and

   (b)  a document evidencing the authority of the agent to act as agent of
        the person seeking registration as the registered operator.
