269. Person may be found guilty of offence only once in respect of the same
circumstances

If a person is-

   (a)  both the registered operator and the driver of a vehicle; or

   (b)  both the registered operator and the person who caused or permitted a
        vehicle to be used on a highway; or

   (c)  both the driver of a vehicle and the person who caused or permitted
        the vehicle to be used on a highway-

the person must not be found guilty for more than one offence under these
Regulations in respect of the same circumstances. __________________ CHAPTER
