CEMETERIES AND CREMATORIA REGULATIONS 2005 (SR NO 76 OF 2005) - REG 36

    (1)     A cemetery trust may approve the carrying out of an activity referred to in regulation 30, 31, 32, 33 or 35 by a person in a public cemetery for which the trust is responsible if the cemetery trust is satisfied that the carrying out of that activity by that person is not inconsistent with—

        (a)     the care, protection or management of the public cemetery; or

        (b)     the protection of the public health in the cemetery; or

        (c)     the maintenance of public order in the cemetery.

    (2)     An approval under sub-regulation (1)—

        (a)     must be in writing; and

        (b)     may be subject to the terms and conditions which the cemetery trust considers reasonable to impose in the circumstances.
