BAIL ACT 1982 - SECT 66

66 .         Abolition of other powers to grant bail

        (1)         Any power or duty that, at the commencement of this Act, exists apart from statute to grant bail to an accused awaiting an appearance in court for an offence, is abolished.

        (2)         Subsection (1) has effect notwithstanding anything in section 16 of the Supreme Court Act 1935 .

        (3)         In subsection (1) statute means an Act of the Parliament of Western Australia, other than the Supreme Court Act 1935 .
