Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Nothing in this
Act applies to or in relation to any liability of the Society, a hospital, a
medical practitioner or any other person under the
Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981 to pay
compensation, and to pay for the provision of other benefits, in relation to
the injury or death, as a result of the contraction of AIDS, of a worker who
was at the relevant time employed by the Society, hospital, medical
practitioner or other person.
(2) In
subsection (1) —
injury and worker have the respective meanings
given by the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981
.
