Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor may
cause to be prepared and published in the Gazette model local laws the
provisions of which a local law or by-law made under this Act may adopt by
reference, with or without modification.
(2) Model local laws
have no effect except to the extent that they are adopted.
(3) The Governor may,
by notice published in the Gazette , amend a model local law published under
this section.
(4) An amendment to a
model local law does not affect any local law or by-law that adopted the model
local law before the amendment but the amendment may be adopted by a further
local law or by-law.
