Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A court to be
known as the Coroner’s Court of Western Australia is established.
(2) The court is to be
constituted by a coroner and has exclusive jurisdiction to hold all inquests
under this Act.
(3) The court
constituted by a coroner may sit and exercise the jurisdiction of the court at
the same time as any other court constituted by a coroner is sitting and
exercising the jurisdiction of the court.
(4) The court is a
court of record and is to have an official seal of which judicial notice must
be taken.
