449 .         Extension or abridgment of time

        (1)         The Registrar may grant an extension of, or may abridge, a time for doing anything required to be done by a co-operative by this Act, or the rules of a co-operative on the terms, if any, as the Registrar decides.

        (2)         The Registrar may grant an extension of time even if the time for doing the thing has expired.
