Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) If the Minister
proposes to publish a notice (a proposed notice ) under section 62(1)(da)
to amend or cancel a notice that classifies land as a forest conservation
area, the Minister is to cause the proposed notice to be laid before each
House of Parliament.
(2)
Section 42(2), (3) and (5) of the Interpretation Act 1984 apply to
a proposed notice laid before each House of Parliament under
subsection (1) as if the proposed notice was a regulation, and the notice
can only be published under section 62(1)(da) if —
(a) it
has not ceased to have effect; and
(b)
there is no longer any possibility of it ceasing to have effect,
under
section 42(2) of that Act as applied by this subsection.
