Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Corporation
may, at the request of a person or local government and with the approval of
the Minister, acquire from the person or local government the whole or part of
any water works of the person or local government and all or any property used
in connection with those water works on and subject to such terms and
conditions as may be mutually agreed.
(2) The Corporation
shall cause notice of the fact of any acquisition made under
subsection (1) to be published in the Government Gazette .
(3) As and from the
date of the publication referred to in subsection (2), the water works
and property concerned shall, by force of this subsection and without any
conveyance, transfer or assignment, be transferred to and vested in the
Corporation and shall be deemed to be water works under and for the purposes
of this Act.
