Western Australian Consolidated Acts The functions of a
licensing officer are as follows —
(a) to
monitor compliance with this Act;
(b) to
monitor compliance with the conditions of licences and exemptions under this
Act;
(c) to
monitor compliance with the Working with Children (Criminal Record Checking)
Act 2004 by licensees, managerial officers, supervising officers and
members of staff in relation to the provision of child care services;
(d) to
investigate suspected contraventions of this Act;
(e) to
investigate whether grounds for disciplinary action exist for the purposes of
Part 2 Division 6;
(f) any
other functions that are prescribed.
