Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Board may
enter into a contract with the Corporation, to administer the Long Service
Leave Fund on behalf of the Board of that Corporation.
(2) For the purpose of
administering the Long Service Leave Fund pursuant to a contract entered into
under subsection (1), the Board has such functions, duties and powers as
are necessary or convenient to meet its obligations under that contract.
(3) Nothing in this
section empowers the Board to exercise any of its functions and general powers
under section 10 or 11 other than in relation to the Fund.
(4) In this
section —
Corporation means the Coal Mining Industry (Long
Service Leave) Corporation, established under the
Coal Mining Industry (Long Service Leave Funding) Act 1992 of the
Commonwealth;
Long Service Leave Fund means the Coal Mining
Industry (Long Service Leave) Fund, established under the
Coal Mining Industry (Long Service Leave Funding) Act 1992 of the
Commonwealth.
