⁵ Section 200 of the Local Government Act 1960 was repealed by Sch. 9.2 cl. 5(b) of the Local Government Act 1995 before the Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds Act 1995 came into operation. Consequently, Sch. 2 cl. 4 of the Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds Act 1995, the provision that purported to repeal s. 200 of the Local Government Act 1960, was amended, before it came into operation, by Sch. 1 to the Local Government (Consequential Amendments) Act 1996 to delete the reference to s. 200 of the Local Government Act 1960. Transitional provisions relating to existing facilities are now contained in Sch. 9 to the Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds Regulations 1997.
