Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor may
make regulations for and in relation to any matter which the Governor thinks
necessary or expedient for carrying this Act into effect, including such
transitional, incidental and supplementary provisions as may be necessary in
relation to the Acts repealed by this Act or any application of the provisions
of this Act.
(2) Where and to the
extent that there is inconsistency between regulations made under this Act and
any local law in force in any district made or purporting to have been made
under or pursuant to this Act, the Acts repealed by this Act, the
Local Government Act 1995 , or any other Act the provisions of the
regulations prevail.
(3) The provisions of
section 50(1), (2) and (3) have effect in relation to regulations made
under this Act in like manner mutatis mutandis as they apply to a local law.
