                         Energy Safety Levy Act 2006

An Act to impose the energy safety levy determined under the Energy Safety
Act 2006.


The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1.       Short title


                  This is the Energy Safety Levy Act 2006.

2.       Commencement


                  This Act comes into operation on the day on which the
       Energy Safety Act 2006 comes into operation.

3.       Energy safety levy imposed


                  If a levy is determined under the Energy Safety Act 2006
       sections 14(1) and 16 in respect of an energy industry participant,
       that levy is imposed in respect of the energy industry participant.
