FIREARMS ACT 1973 - SECT 16A

16A .         Possession of firearms by security officers

                A Corporate Licence referred to in section 16(1)(c) authorises an organisation for which a security agent’s licence is held under the Security and Related Activities (Control) Act 1996 to permit an employee to possess a firearm or ammunition to the extent only that the employee is authorised to do so by a security officer’s licence endorsed under section 24, or a permit issued under section 25, of that Act.
