Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The responsibility
for the administration of this Act is vested in the Minister who is required
to have regard to the recommendations of the Commissioner but is not bound to
give effect to any such recommendation.
(2) Subject to the
Minister, the administration of this Act shall be carried out by the
Commissioner.
(3) The costs and
expenses incurred in the administration of this Act shall be defrayed out of
moneys to be provided by Parliament for that purpose.
(4) The provisions of
the Financial Management Act 2006 and the Auditor General Act 2006
regulating the financial administration, audit and reporting of departments
apply to and in respect of the Department and its operations under this Act.
