Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Minister, the
CEO or a chairman may, by notice in writing, require any person within such
period as is specified in the notice, to furnish him with such information as
he requires for the purpose of inquiring into or ascertaining that
person’s or any other person’s liability or entitlement under any
provision of this Act.
(2) A person who fails
to comply with a requirement by the Minister, the CEO or a chairman under
subsection (1) or, in response to a requirement under that subsection,
furnishes information that the person knows to be false or misleading in a
material particular commits an offence.
Penalty: $5 000 and a daily penalty of $100.
