Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The amount of a
first home owner grant is the lesser of the following —
(a) the
consideration for the transaction;
(b)
$7 000.
(2) Despite
subsection (1), the amount of a first home owner grant for an eligible
transaction that is a special eligible transaction within the meaning of
section 14A is the lesser of the following —
(a) the
consideration for the special eligible transaction;
(b) the
relevant amount.
(3) In
subsection (2) —
relevant amount means —
(a) in
the case of a class 1 or class 2 eligible transaction within the meaning of
section 14B — $14 000; or
(b) in
the case of a class 3 eligible transaction within the meaning of
section 14B — $10 000; or
(c) in
the case of a class 4 eligible transaction within the meaning of
section 14B — $14 000; or
(d) in
the case of a class 5 eligible transaction within the meaning of
section 14B — $21 000; or
(e) in
the case of a class 6 eligible transaction within the meaning of
section 14B — $10 500; or
(f) in
the case of a class 7 eligible transaction within the meaning of
section 14B — $14 000.
