Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) If a person
applies to the CEO for the renewal of an authorisation within 60 days
after the day on which it has expired, the authorisation may be renewed
despite the fact that it has expired.
(2) If an
authorisation is renewed as provided under subsection (1), the
authorisation must be taken —
(a) to
have been renewed from the day on which the renewal was effected; and
(b) to
have been of no effect during the period from the day on which it expired
until the day on which it was renewed; and
(c) to
be renewed for a period ending on the day on which the authorisation would
otherwise have expired if it had been renewed from the previous day of expiry.
(3) The regulations
may prescribe, or a management plan may specify, an additional fee payable by
way of penalty if an application is made or authorisation renewed under
subsection (1).
