Western Australian Consolidated Acts A person must
not —
(a)
state anything to a fisheries officer that the person knows is false or
misleading in a material particular; or
(b) omit
from a statement made to a fisheries officer anything without which the
statement is, to the person’s knowledge, misleading in a material
particular; or
(c) give
or produce any document to a fisheries officer that —
(i)
the person knows is false or misleading in a material
particular; or
(ii)
omits anything without which the document is, to the
person’s knowledge, misleading in a material particular.
Penalty: In the case of an individual,
$10 000 and imprisonment for one year or, in the case of a body
corporate, $20 000.
