Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) If anything is
seized under this Act and its owner cannot be found the CEO is to give
notice in the prescribed way that the thing is being held by the Department
and may be claimed by its owner.
(2) If after the
expiration of 3 months from the day on which notice has been given under
subsection (1) the thing has not been claimed by its owner the thing is
forfeited to the Crown.
