Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) There shall be
established in accordance with this section a school dental service to
provide dental care and treatment for pre-school and school children.
(2) With the approval
of the Minister, the CEO may establish and maintain teaching schools and
facilities for the training of persons as school dental therapists.
(3) There shall be
appointed under and subject to Part 3 of the
Public Sector Management Act 1994 , such dentists, school dental
therapists and other officers and staff as may be required for the purposes of
this section.
(4) The Governor may
make regulations prescribing the manner in which acts of dentistry are to be
undertaken by a school dental therapist.
